Council Highlights – Winter 2022

At the AGM, members approved a regulatory bylaw amendment to post Council minutes on the public area of the SLSA website. This practice was implemented once Ministerial approval of the amendment was granted. Minutes can be viewed at https://www.slsa.sk.ca/minutes-of-council-meetings

In accordance with SLSA bylaws Article XXXVIII: SECTION 3, the following minutes are to be posted and remain accessible for at least one year:

(a) minutes of council meetings, except in-camera and closed sessions, which have been redacted and approved by council. Council will maintain a policy for the redaction of minutes.

(b) complete minutes of the annual meeting after those minutes are approved by members at the following annual meeting.

SLSA Council typically meets the third Thursday of each month. Minutes for the prior month are approved at each meeting and will be posted within the next week.
