Council Highlights – Spring 2021

The Education Committee completed its first CPD Review using this platform. Please continue to enter your credits as you earn them. A review will be done every January for the three year period ending Dec. 31.

Some highlights of the activity undertaken by Council in Q1, 2021 follow:

• The 2020 audit was undertaken beginning in January, with audited financial statements approved by Council and sent to members prior to the Feb. 14 deadline specified in our bylaws
• Several form ‘R’s were received in December and January. Our 2021 membership includes 81 SLS (80 of whom are also P. Surv), 25 SLS (Ret.), 6 Life Members, 8 SLSIT, 2 Student, and 2 Honourary Members
• Council approved a Form “L” between Samuel J. Sweeney and Robert G. King
• A meeting was held with ISC, OPRA, and Community Planning on March 10. The minutes have been posted on our member only site

Professional exams are being delivered to SLSITs online this spring.

Our 2021 AGM will be held online June 1-3, 2021.
