Thank you to the members who submitted articles for the Summer 2021 edition of the Corner Post, submission by any member is welcome, and encouraged, so please keep sending them in.

Included are a few interesting articles on the preservation of markers, targeting drone photographers for Unlicensed Survey Work, Belgian farmer moves the French Border, and a Corner Post Archive with respect to the SLSA Ballot Box, as we received notice of the passing of Lynne Merle Parsons, who crafted the Ballot Box for the SLSA in 2015 and has ties to the land surveying industry and our Association through his own field experiences, and grandson-in-law Malcolm Vanstone, Commission #297.

In addition to articles, we also have a need for photos for the cover page. If you have any to send, please email them to Carrie of myself, along with a brief note/description about them.

I hope you are all able to get out an enjoy the summer months, wherever you may be.

Thank you,
Heather Maloney
